Starting in Eastern Simi Valley, the Chumash Trail was one of the more pleasant hikes I have been on recently. To access the trailhead, take the 118 Freeway to Yosemite street in Simi Valley and head north. Make a right on Flanaghan and keep driving until the street dead ends at Chumash Park.
